Hey friends,
Yesterday, I attended a cozy salon by
and Tanya, where we got to read, share, and write poems. The topic was hope.
But since I already wrote a poem on hope last year, I thought I’d write about something else that came up during the salon—the struggle to start writing (poems).
Here it is:
Write it now.
While the woes are willing to escape.
Write it with your heart.
While the words are wanting.
Write it without thinking.
While the weird is wandering your paper.
Write it without waiting.
While the work is no wonder.
Write it now.
While the white is welcoming your weirdness.
Sincerely,
Jibran
